Thanks for your comment Matt and I totally agree that starting with an off-line brand strategy is an essential party of sucessfully navigating an on-line brand. I think many Realtors forget the importance of having a marketing, or branding strategy at all. The internet will only amplify a poor strategy making it more important than ever for agents to have a plan.

Hi Stacey,

I know I already told you this but this post just rocks! Many times the conversations I have with clients new to Social Media is that they know they should be doing it..but are having a hard time understanding why..and certainly where to start, as their needs can be so different. This helps put it all into perspective, and is a great resource that I will refer to myself..and hope to share:)

Stacey,

This is by far one of the BEST posts addressing the social media implementation to a Realtors life i have read to date. Honestly, i can say that I have "post-envy" because this is so good!

Way to discuss the strategy behind your social media implementation. This is the number one thing i find most agents lack. Good for you pointing this out.

One thing that i might add to this as well is to start with a really strong branding exercise for your business as a Realtor. This will give you a very good "blueprint" for your online interaction, and will help them maintain an "on-brand" identity online.

nice work stacey... this is excellent!
